Forecourt Funding is managed by a team of individuals with extensive and varied experience within the motor trade. Our aim is to provide a more personal and bespoke service than that which is currently available within the market and ultimately to help you, the dealer, grow your business, ease your cashflow and improve your profile.

Mission – Provide clear and accessible funding options to serve the UK used-car dealer network, through collaboration with our dealer partners, to understand their business funding needs.

Meet the Team

Richard has spent 20 years working in the financial sector ranging from branch based retail banking, to invoice finance covering roles including sales, account management, credit and audit. The last 8 years he has been in the automotive industry specialising in dealer funding with the last 3 managing a team controlling the credit for a portfolio with limits in excess of £100m. Outside of work he has a young family and who all enjoy travelling. When he has time to himself (and not taking kids to football, swimming gymnastics etc) he is a keen angler and loves both football and rugby (watching not playing these days!)

Chris Thornton Dees is Forecourt Funding’s COO. Having worked in Automotive and Financial Services for 25 years, he brings a wealth of experience to the team. Chris works part time offering operational, board leadership, credit and collections support for the business. When not spending time with his family, Chris rides a Ducati Panigale or his Husqvarna 701 Supermoto. He is also a lifelong (suffering) Bradford City fan!

Mel worked in start-ups and scale-ups for more than a decade before entering the investment community. She has been closely involved in significant P.E, venture and debt financing decisions, including at a well-known scale-up where she was group financial controller. At Forecourt Funding she brings significant expertise in financial forecasting, analysis, and planning to our portfolio. Mel has also worked with clients expanding into Europe and the US and is Founder and Director of Hofert Consulting Ltd.

Ginny deals directly with all of our Dealers and is always happy to answer any questions you may have. Prior to joining the Forecourt Funding team, she trained as an animal technician (nurse) travelling the country talking to vets and pet owners discussing various health issues and how to resolve them. After having 3 children, she decided it was time for a change and retrained as a gymnastics coach and judge, teaching children of various ages and abilities. In her spare time she is a keen Irish dancer! When she found out she would be able to talk to lots of people from all walks of life at Forecourt Funding, she jumped at the chance!

Our numbers Queen, Michelle deals with everything accounts based. From raising to paying invoices and managing the month end, she keeps the money flowing through Forecourt Funding. An essential member of the team, her keen eye for detail keeps our accounts in the best shape possible. Michelle has worked in accounts for 22 years with 11 of those years in the vehicle stocking environment. Michelle enjoys keeping herself busy in her spare time by upcycling furniture, interior designing and floristry. As well as her hobbies, Michelle has 2 children, which also keep her on her toes!

Involved in everything HR, Sophie ensures the smooth running of each department, as well as supporting the directors from a PA perspective. Organised and efficient, Sophie helps the office run like clockwork. CIPD qualified, 18 years operational and customer service experience, 9 years within various areas of the motor finance sector currently supporting the Marketing side of the business. Aa a young mum, Sophie spends much of her spare time changing nappies, singing nursery rhymes, and running around after her toddler!

Meet the IT guru, Manoj - a seasoned professional with a geeky past managing all things IT.
 
He's been coding for a cool 20 years. Manoj has proven his prowess as a software developer across diverse industries, including finance, motor and fashion.
 
Outside the digital realm, you'll catch him chilling with his canine companion and his three almost-adult kids. Oh, and there's a wife in the mix too!
